Хикмет Карагюллю

He was born in Kars Arpacay in August 1957. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Kars. He entered Hacettepe University in the 1974-75 academic year. After completing his 6-year medical education after 1 year of English preparatory class, he went to Ağrı for compulsory service in 1983. After his military service, he worked as a general practitioner in Antalya, as well as in the newly developing tourism medicine sector. He started his Radiology training at Haydarpaşa Training and Research Hospital in the early 1990s, and was appointed as a specialist at the same hospital after his assistantship. Until 2016, when he retired, he worked in the department of breast radiology and was involved in studies in this field. He has been a speaker at many seminars and conferences on breast cancer, as well as joint national and international publications.
