He has been an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Bilim University since 2014. He also lectures at Istanbul Arel University since 2023. He earned his MD from Fırat University. He completed his general surgery residency at Haydarpaşa Numune.
He has authored 16 scientific articles. He has 25 national and 3 international congress presentations. He won First Prize in Turkey for laparoscopic right hemicolectomy in ileocecal neuroendocrine tumors. He contributed a translation to the SAGES Hernia Repair Manual (laparoscopic TEP/TAPP). He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association, the Turkish Surgical Society, and the Colon and Rectal, Bariatric and Metabolic, and Endocrine Surgery societies.
