In 1993, she established the Pediatric Neurology Department at Ankara Pediatric Health and Hematology Oncology Hospital. This was an important step forward for pediatric care in Turkey.

Dr. Kose specializes in neurodegenerative, neurometabolic, and rare acquired neurological diseases. She has special expertise in Autoimmune Encephalitis and SSPE. Prof. Dr. Tülin Tiraje Celkan is a respected pediatric hematology-oncology specialist with 28 years of experience. She has published over 130 scientific articles, including 133 listed in PubMed. She has also written and edited several reference books in her field.

Dr. Celkan served as President of the Turkish Pediatric Hematology Society from 2017 to 2019. During this time, she helped shape national standards for pediatric blood disease care.
