Prof. Dr. Ayla Güven graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1986 and completed her mandatory service at Ege University Chest Diseases Bornova Tuberculosis Dispensary. Following that, she started her specialization training in the Department of Child Health and Diseases at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and became a specialist in 1993. After working as a specialist physician, she began her subspecialty training in Pediatric Endocrinology at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in September 2000 and became a Pediatric Endocrinology specialist in December 2002. In April 2003, she started working as an assistant professor at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine and worked in the Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Department at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, USA, between May and November 2003. After returning to Turkey, she continued to work at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine. This clinic was the first to offer Pediatric Endocrinology subspecialty training in the country. During her time there, one person became a Pediatric Endocrinology specialist. On March 13, 2006, she successfully passed the exam and received the title of Associate Professor. Since December 2006, she has been working at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital. In this hospital, she was appointed as the head of the Pediatric Endocrinology clinic in November 2008 and started providing Pediatric Endocrinology subspecialty training for the first time in the hospital in March 2009. Between 2009 and 2017, she trained five Pediatric Endocrinology specialists. Most of the physicians she currently provides subspecialty training to have gained academic titles as professors and associate professors. After working as a training instructor at Health Sciences University Zeynep Kamil Hospital for Children and Women from 2017 to 2021, she retired at her request from public service. Between 2021 and 2024, she worked as a Pediatric Endocrinology specialist at Başkent University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Child Health and Diseases, at Istanbul Hospital.

Dr. Serhat Seyhan is a medical genetics specialist. He is the Head Physician at the Genetic Disorders Evaluation Center, Memorial Şişli Hospital in Istanbul. He has also led genetic evaluation centers at Biruni University Hospital and Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital. Dr. Seyhan chaired the Department of Medical Genetics at Istanbul Medipol University.

He completed his medical genetics training at Karadeniz Technical University. He earned his MD from Cumhuriyet University. Dr. Seyhan gained international experience as a short-term scholar at the University of Miami. He is known for his leadership in clinical genetics and his academic work in the field.

Prof. Mustafa Sağlam, M.D. graduated from Marmara University School of Medicine in 1994 and has specialized in Endovascular Repair of the Aneurysm of Abdominal Aorta, Stress Test for imaging the Coronary Artery Diseases, Ambulatory Cardiac Monitoring, Holter Test, Balloon Valvuloplasty and Temporary Pacemaker. He is currently the Head of the Cardiology Department in Hisar Hospital Intercontinental.

Dr. Cagatay Saim Tezel is a Professor of Thoracic Surgery at Memorial Şişli Hospital since 2025. From 2021 to 2025, he was a Professor at Haliç University Faculty of Medicine and at Liv Hospital Ulus. Earlier, he served at SB Süreyyapaşa Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Hospital as a specialist, associate professor, and educational supervisor.

He earned his MD from Ankara University. He completed his Thoracic Surgery specialization at SB Heybeliada Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Hospital from 2000 to 2005. His international training includes a 6‑month observership at the Royal Brompton Hospital and work in the Leicester University clinics. He also attended the STS 41st Annual Meeting and the Ankara University Esophageal Surgery Program. He was part of the Süreyyapaşa Thoracic Surgery Transplant Team. He was an internship lecturer at Yeditepe University from 2013 to 2020. He served on the editorial board of the Heybeliada Medical Bulletin in 2001.

He is a member of the Turkish Thoracic Surgery Society, the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the Turkish Thoracic Society, and the European Respiratory Society. He advised a thesis that won third place in the Istanbul Medical Chamber Thesis Competition.

Dr. Cemile Dilek Uysal has graduated from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine with honors in 1992. She did compulsory service for 3 years in Merzifon district of Amasya. Then she won the dermatology department of Haydarpaşa Numune Hospital, which was her first choice at TUS. From there she specialized in dermatology. Currently, she serves in the Intercontinental Dermatology department of Hisar Hospital.

Her areas of interest include acne, fungi, eczema, urticaria, pruritus (itching), viral and bacterial diseases, parasitic diseases such as scabies (scabies) and pediculus capitis, various hair diseases, and psoriasis.
