Dr. Orhan Shencan is a medical oncology specialist. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1988. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Ankara Training Hospital between 1990 and 1994. He finished his Medical Oncology training at Ankara University between 1997 and 1999. He became an Associate Professor in Medical Oncology in 2009.

He has held Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology posts at İnönü University, Ankara Training Hospital, and Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. He also worked at Ankara Etlik Specialty Hospital, Private Lokman Hekim Hospital, Acıbadem Maslak Hospital, and Fatih University (Associate Professor, 2012–2016). After obtaining her Radiology specialization, she worked at Bozüyük State Hospital and Private Eskişehir Sakarya Hospital from 2003 to 2014. Since 2014 she has worked at Istanbul Taksim Gaziosmanpaşa Training and Research Hospital for 10 years, where she obtained the title of Associate Professor in 2019, serving as the Education Coordinator and Administrative Responsible in the Radiology Education Clinic. She has published research articles in international SCI and SCI-E journals and has numerous national and international oral presentations and journal peer reviews. In 2020, she successfully completed the ‘Fundamentals of Good Clinical Practice’ training. Her special interests are musculoskeletal radiology and breast imaging.
