Del Prado Implants is a private dental clinic in Tijuana, Mexico. It opened in 2026 inside the Del Prado Medical Tower. The clinic focuses on oral rehabilitation, mainly for U.S. patients seeking full-arch restoration.
Accreditations and Statistics
The clinic holds JCI accreditation, meeting international healthcare quality standards. It is also registered with COFEPRIS, the Mexican health authority. The team has completed hundreds of full-arch transformations for international patients.
Dental Implants and Oral Rehabilitation
Dr. Manny Torres leads the implantology department with nearly 10 years of experience. He is a Board Certified Dental Implants Specialist who trained at Loma Linda University. The clinic focuses on complex restorations for patients with missing teeth.
Specialists offer several full-mouth restoration methods:
- All-on-4 dental implants – fixed restoration using four to six implants to support a full arch
- Same Day Teeth – a protocol providing temporary fixed teeth within 24 hours of surgery
- Smile Design – cosmetic rehabilitation using custom veneers
- Full-arch restoration using definitive zirconia prostheses and titanium bars
Surgeons use PRF and PRP therapy during implant placement. These platelet-rich treatments speed up tissue healing and improve bone integration. The clinic also offers IV sedation for patient comfort during surgery.
Diagnostic Technology and Safety
Every patient goes through a 3D digital planning workflow. The process starts with digital scans and CBCT imaging to map bone structure. Specialists then identify nerve pathways and determine ideal implant placement.
Available diagnostic and treatment equipment includes:
- Cone Beam CT Scan (CBCT) for high-resolution 3D jaw imaging
- Intraoral scanning for digital impressions without traditional molds
- Digital facial scanning for precise Smile Design planning
- Custom-made surgical guides for accurate implant positioning
- Panoramic and periapical X-rays
The clinic uses Straumann and Neodent implant systems. Both brands are recognized globally for long-term stability. Patients who follow care instructions receive a lifetime warranty on their implants.
Services for International Patients
Del Prado Implants treats many patients from nearby U.S. cities like San Diego. English-speaking staff help coordinate treatment. Patients can also request free virtual consultations before traveling to Mexico.
The dental tourism experience includes several coordinated logistics:
- Safe and private transportation for border crossings
- Coordinated hotel accommodations near the medical tower
- Full scheduling support for multi-step restoration journeys
- Comprehensive evaluation packages including all necessary digital X-rays
Coordinators manage everything under one roof – from initial surgery to final prosthesis placement. This approach cuts travel time for international visitors.
