Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suleyman Hilmi Ipekci, M.D., is an experienced endocrinologist. He specializes in diabetes, thyroid diseases, thyroid cancers, pituitary and adrenal gland disorders, and hormone imbalances. He graduated from Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine, Istanbul University in 1999. He completed his internal medicine residency in 2005 and his endocrinology fellowship in 2010.

Dr. Ipekci became an Associate Professor in 2016. He has published 42 international scientific articles. His research has been cited 230 times. He has contributed to 8 national and international scientific projects, including 2 TUBITAK projects. He has received several awards for his scientific publications. Dr. Pakize Eker Balcıoğlu is a board-certified general surgeon. She graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine (English program) and completed her residency at Marmara University. She has published many articles in local and international journals. She has also worked as a columnist for two medical publications.

Dr. Balcıoğlu specializes in diagnosing and treating breast pain. She is experienced in advanced hemorrhoid therapies, including laser and Longo surgery. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cenk Acar completed his medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and his urology residency at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology. He worked as an assistant professor at Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology between June 2009 and November 2012. Between May 2012 and November 2012, he worked as a fellow in robotic and laparoscopic surgery in urologic cancers for 6 months in the Urology Department of “The Netherland Cancer Institute-AVL hospital”. He started to work at Acıbadem Ankara Hospital in November 2012. In September 2014, he completed the necessary academic qualifications and received the title of “Associate Professor”. After working in a private hospital in Ankara between 2015-2020, he continued his services in his private practice in Ankara until 2020 when he started Hisar Intercontinental Hospital.

In 2015, he was the chairman of the organizing committee of the first course on ‘Fluorescence Imaging in Urological Surgery’ in the field of urology in Turkey. In the following years, he chaired many urology and multidisciplinary courses on ICG fluorescence imaging under the umbrella of Urology Associations. In 2017, for the first time in Turkey, he started to apply Bipolar Prostate Enucleation in benign prostate enlargement in his clinic. Later, he started to use his increasing experience in surgeries such as HOLEP and THUFLEP.

In his career, Dr. Acar, who is especially interested in Urological Cancers, Urinary System Stones, HOLEP, THUFLEP, Endourology, and Robotic and Laparoscopic Urological Surgeries, has carried out many successful operations. He has performed over 500 urological cancer surgeries, over 250 HOLEP surgeries, countless endoscopic stone surgeries, and numerous robotic and laparoscopic surgeries.

Dr. Faruk Gençoğlu completed his medical faculty career, which he started at Samsun 19 Mayıs University, by joining the academic staff of Istanbul Cerrahpaşa Cardiology Institute in 2015 and receiving his specialization in 2020. Gençoğlu, who actively took part in approximately 3 thousand cases during this process; He has performed surgery for adult cardiovascular diseases such as adult coronary artery disease, heart valve diseases (aortic-mitral-tricuspid), aortic surgery, carotid surgery, peripheral vascular diseases, venous insufficiency (varicose veins), deep vein thrombosis.
