Fehér Dental Team is a private dental clinic in Sopron, Hungary. DDr. Ákos Fehér founded it in 2002. The facility provides full dental care with a focus on biological dentistry. A team of 16 employees works here, including four specialized doctors. The clinic serves local patients and international visitors seeking aesthetic and restorative dental solutions.
Accreditations and Professional Recognition
The clinic holds the Jawbone Quality Diagnostic Excellence Center certification for its specialized diagnostic work. Founder Dr. Ákos Fehér received the Straumann Trusted Partner Award. Team members also belong to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. The clinic has placed more than 30,000 dental implants over its history.
Dental Specialties and Treatment Methods
The practice focuses on biological dentistry. This means using non-metal materials and patient-specific material testing. Several key specialties apply this approach:
- Implantology: Specialists perform immediate implant placements and complex oral surgeries. They use Osseodensification to improve bone density during treatment.
- Orthodontics: The clinic offers invisible teeth straightening with clear aligners. Invisalign Teen systems are available for younger patients.
- Periodontology: Treatment plans focus on tissue regeneration and saving natural teeth. Doctors avoid conventional chemical preparations to support natural healing.
- Restorative Dentistry: The team uses the CEREC system for same-day ceramic restorations, including inlays and crowns.
Safe amalgam removal is central to the biological approach. Doctors use rubber dam isolation and specialized suction systems. This protects patients from mercury exposure.
Advanced Jawbone Diagnostics
Fehér Dental Team is known for its CaviTAU (NICO) jawbone diagnostics. This radiation-free ultrasound method locates areas of low bone density. It supports pre-operative planning by clarifying potential implant risks. The diagnostic process has three main pillars:
- Three-dimensional Cone Beam CT imaging for precise mapping.
- CaviTAU ultrasound diagnostics to assess bone quality.
- Bioenergetic investigation and the RANTES-Test blood analysis.
These tools help specialists find silent inflammations that traditional X-rays might miss. The clinic was the first in Hungary to introduce this diagnostic technology.
Technology and Equipment
The facility uses digital workflows for treatment accuracy and patient safety. Diagnostic tools include:
- Intraoral scanning and CEREC Omnicam for digital models.
- DIAGNOcam for detecting cavities without radiation.
- High-magnification microscopes for precision in surgical and restorative work.
- Panoramic and periapical X-ray systems for standard imaging.
Specialists use iTero simulations during orthodontic consultations. Patients can see their expected results before starting aligner treatment.
Services for International Patients
The clinic supports patients traveling from abroad, especially those coming from Vienna. Online consultations with Dr. Ákos Fehér are available. During these sessions, he provides radiograph analysis and bioenergetic testing advice. Patients arriving by car can use the Ikva parking garage next to the practice. The reception handles parking tickets, so visitors park for free.
