I did not know where to begin ! I was first hospitalized each time I gave birth to my wonderful sons at the old PMC! I have all of my Doctors and my husband connected to PRINCETON Penn now! I My husband father and I have had all had surgery at this hospital! My husband had lifesaving surgery as well as my father by Princeton Surgical Associates by Dr Elliot Sambol and his partners! … I myself have had sinus surgery as well as a Partial knee replacement where there is The Jim Craigie Center to recover and rehab and will have my other knee done In two weeks! The nurses are wonderful caring kind people as well !

Best experience that I’ve had at a hospital EVER. This was my first time there. Went to the ER due to complications with my asthma at 930 am. I was impressed from the very moment. Upon checking in, I was asked what was wrong rather than for my insurance information. That right there is amazing. Do you know how many people suffer through the registration process? Unbelievable. I waited in the waiting room maybe 5 minutes and then was called back to have my vitals checked and assessed. Once I was sent to the back for observation—within an hour, I met with the doctor, got treatments, had an x-ray, was diagnosed and referred to specialists, offered lunch, and was checked on my a volunteer who offered me a warm blanket while I waited. Towards the end of the visit, a person from registration asked for my insurance information and about 30 minutes later, I was sent home. Well taken care of, with a full follow up plan to further address my medical concerns. Thank you! Had I traveled to St. Peter’s or Robert Wood, I would still more than likely be there! I appreciate what you guys have going on there.
Delivered my baby here and have to say, one of the worst maternal care units. They don't have a nursery to care for the baby while the mommy recovers. The nurses do not do a single thing to help new moms unless you hound them, including helping the mom to the bathroom. Despite a relatively small census nurses are totally unresponsive and not helpful. They don't provide pain relief meds on time and the hospital doesn't even provide new parents with a take home package for the baby. they provide very few things unlike other hospitals like Saint Peters...avoid at all costs if possible
Good community hospital.
I went to ER and waited for over 4 hours. I sat in the waiting room, this happened twice. The registration woman said they take the less serious patients first so they can get them in and out. Meanwhile the more serious wait and wait. I finally went to another hospital and was seen within 20 minutes. My Dr. at St Peters was very thorough. Thanks for nothing Princeton. You are the worst.
Wait time in the ER is always more than 4 hours here. No clue why it is an ER adding to the irony. The reason they gave us is, a room has been allotted to us, only thing that is holding up is the existing patient exit process and the follow up room cleaning, once done, you’re all set but that is gonna take 4 hours straight. This is the case with a toddler with high fever and chest congestion. They take less severe patients first and leave the patients needing immediate help behind and baffled.
A 95 year old women woke up to being told she was discharged and she could wait outside as an Uber was was called. This is after the family was told the day prior she would be admitted for a couple more days, on the day of discharge no family was contacted and they forced a 95 year old woman to discharge herself. Guys, this is a scary place to bring your loved ones.
Had hand surgery today at surgery center everything from checking to discharge was 5 stars.Cannot say enough about the nurse who was assigned to me Kathleen B. Would give her 10 stars if I could
Unfortunately cannot give a zero otherwise would have rated a zero for their ER care.Waiting with my toddler, who had trouble breathing, for more than 3 hours in the wee hours and yes first we need to take care of is to make sure that we r paying the co-pay.
Parking can be an issue but one can find it. Easy to visit the doctor. Can find all services at the site.
I walked into the emergency room July 2019 a tall African American woman with at the time purple hair. I was in severe pain that radiated throughout my neck on the right side and down my back. My pain was so severe and intense I could not walk or even ride in a car without crying. The staff at PMC treated me with respect, I felt comfortable, cared for and heard. After all of the preliminary test to assess my medical status and intention for visiting were provided, I received accurate customized care and Prescriptions that irraticated my condition within two days. I am grateful to everyone that cared for me and saw me as a human being on that day. My Emergency experience was unforgettable and appreciated.
This place is fine. Nothing wrong with the doctors and nurses that work here - very nice and competent professionals.The main issue I have is that despite the fancy building and the flurry of activity - the institution still seems to have problems with things like ER wait times and bed allocation. Perhaps this is just an issue across all healthcare institutions- but it gives me little solace. My mother came in with non specific symptoms, had an extensive workup (CT, labs, even a lumbar puncture) and yet sat in the ER “boarding” for nearly two days. Crazy.
I just spent 24 hours in this hospital waiting for a test no one actually finished putting the paperwork in for! Worse, I didn't know I was wasting my time, at the cost of thousands of dollars, until I caused a scene. Tomorrow is going to be day 3 at a hospital because they couldn't competently schedule an MRI. 3 days in the hospital for an MRI...But at least the left-over food is piling up and starting to smell.
My daughter has had three extended stays at this hospital in the past 8 months. We have filed formal complaints in February and again in October about a nurse Melissa who seems to be a sociopath. She has withheld pain medication as my daughter cried and begged for relief that was prescribed and approved by her doctor. This woman recently again withheld pain medication and taunted my daughter and bullied her. The formal complaint process with the patient advocate is a sham. You get sympathetic looks and then she disappears until the patient has been discharged. The doctors and residents are completely disengaged and have zero communication with the specialist who is treating my daughter and have zero communication with the pain management team. This hospital is terrible. There are plenty of nearby alternatives so unless it’s an emergency I recommend that you avoid this Horror house at all costs.
I was never a patient however, I was an employee that worked at Hamilton admissions office under Director Kathy Demaio who is honestly the most narcissistic human and emotionally abusive boss I have ever encountered. What a horrible place to work. It is a toxic work environment. The other supervisor under her has significant mood swings and slams the door in employees faces on a regular basis. Don’t ever work for this compliment or at least this office.
The wait times at the Emergency Room in Plainsboro, NJ are ridiculous. If you’re in need of EMERGENCY Help please go somewhere else.
So far very disappointed in the hospital staff. My mother was brought in by ambulance at 4am today ( she is 75) and was having severe nausea and abdominal pain. No one called me-even though I am her POA. I called to speak with her ER nurse , Michelle G. And never got s return call. So 2 hours later I drove to ER. My mom is forgetful especially when sick and in pain. When her nurse finally came to her room I told her that she reacts very poorly to morphine and gets very nauseous. I asked for her lab results and wanted to discuss her plan of care. 3 more hours have passed and I still have no information. The nurse taking caring of her now in holding told me it wasn’t her priority and I should “let her get settled”. My mother returned to this holding room from a test over an hour ago and the nurse still has not come in to meet her or check on her. The nurses here are very rude! I would never come back here for myself or my family. Very poor customer service. And they told us there were no pillows available
Wish I could give 0 starts. The services themselves were fine but the failures in billing and the pass-the-buck mentality of every single billing, financial services, or customer services office was unbelievable. I have never received such inept, unsympathetic service at any institution (medical or otherwise) in my life.

The staff at the emergency induction department showed appallingly megar amounts of hospotality. They were rude and practiced diplorable amounts empathy. They forced me to answer a menagirie of irrelevant questions as I crawled on the floor with excruciating pain. Conversely, once your in the system they exploite this opportunity. Many emergency staff sat back, laughed and took pleasure listening to patients screem in agony. To much desmay, as i begged and pleaded for help, the emerency staff responded by closing my door, to muffle the sound.Additionally the surgical team had continuously kept stringing me along for 24+ hours. They improperly manged patient expectations with there superfluous extentions. There are definitely flaws in their organizational procedures, and attitude with many staff. They're actions brought me to the brink of a breakdown.Adversely, not all the staff are bad, not even by a long shot.Last night i was appoled by much of the actions of many staff but think its important to give credit where credit is due. I had been at my witts end. During communication with the staff i had respectfull communicated my desdain with procedures and the actions of the staff.Whith an unflappable disposition, Sydney a godsend, handled my case with the upmost care. No matter how upset my responses sounded, she never took it personal. She had delivered the best nursing service ive ever experienced. I would consider her to be the hospitals greatest asset. A manager myself, i understand the importance of what she brings to the table and i feel there is an eminent need to make it a point and give her recognition.I have no doubt, if the hospital took a page out of her book and applied her principles to the entire medical staff, that organization would attain insurmountable sucess. I really hope that upper management takes notice and gives Sydney from the O.R. department the recognition she deserves. Please like my review. Thank you.

Excellent staff, op prep, recovery rooms. Patient prep and education are exceptional. Infection prevention pre and post op are second to non.
I've been seeing Dr. Mark Schwartz here for about 3 years and he is amazing! He has a great bedside manner and is very helpful. The only downside is that it is a little far from my house. Also, whoever answers the phones is usually rude whenever I have called to leave a message for the doctor.
The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable we came for a an appointment with my mom and they took great care of her.
Wow am I disappointed in the new hospital. Penn bought Princeton and they've now turned the hospital into a Ponzi scheme. I had to have emergency surgery and went through emergency room. Get that you charge for that. But apparently now every single doctor that walks into your room with their 5 students in tow now bills separately. So you don't ask for them, you don't even know what they're billing you for or that they're billing you and it's not included in the overall bill but they get to all bill you separately. So not only do you get charged with a super expensive hospital stay, NOTHING IS INCLUDED. Not one doctor!! I had 8 doctors in my room at one point and now I know why just so they can bill you $260 for 3 minutes of saying 'hi'. And we all wonder why our medical and insurance system is messed up. This is where it starts!! What a complete and utter rip off. You should be completely ashamed of yourselves and how do you sleep at night. I have insurance coverage through my company and have to pay over $5,000 out of pocket because of all this nonsense I can't even imagine those who don't have it how they feel. When a doctor walks into your room tell them to GET OUT!!!! and only use the doctors you actually need. Each and every doctor should have to state what they bill and how they do it before getting to walk into your room as you don't have a choice. Thanks Penn for putting me into debt for something I didn't even ask for, nor was provided service that amounts to the money being charged!! AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Had a knee replacement here two years ago. Every aspect of my care was top notch. Nurses, doctors and even food was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend to any of my friends.
Made appointment for tests recommended by doctor on Thursday evening. Test needed or recommended before taking transportation. Test ordered end of day Thursday. By Friday 3:50 pm, more than 5 hours later, never got any call !!!!

Been here with my husband since around midnight it is now 3:16pm. He was suffering sever stomach pain. After some test around 3am we were told he needed surgery for his appendix to be removed. We were told surgery would be around early morning. It’s been hell waiting here with no answers. Nothing but several bags of antibiotics and pain killers. Which at this point is ridiculous. Let alone the condition of the room we are in. Had to ask the nurse to pick up a bloody needle from someone else’s IV. This feels like a horror show. Not to mention the rude registration lady. It’s been 15 hours and no answers.
Worst emergency services .. don’t recommended
Took my 2.5 month infant for tests as she had high fever. The room they had given didnt have a bassinet and had to make her sleep in adult bed. Also the ER nurses didnt seem to have much experience handling infants so young. The nurse who had to take a nasal swab did it so rough even adults wouldn't bear that pain. Also nurse said it's ok to give ibuprofen for the kid but the doctor advised not to.

My mother in law was brought here in severe back pain through an ambulance. She didnt get a nurse or doctor to show up until more than 2 hours later. Just a third rate hospital now from what it used to be before Penn bought them.
This hospital is the best place to bring anybody to. Its clean, well staffed, the nurse's and nurse's aides are so knowledgeable and helpful and they work with each other to do all they can for the patients.The hospitals Dr.s are very well trained and show great compassion for their patients.All the rooms are private rooms.Yes they have these funky couches that pull out to a bed. The six foot one has a short seat for some reason. But the four foot couch has a larger sitting area, and is ok for comfort. But there is also comfortable chairs and even some recliners. If you're worried about sitting in the room too long.They have one or two family respite rooms on each floor. And they have coffee, and tea, espresso too, and microwaves.The emergency room personal treat their patients very good, and are also very knowledgeable too.Over all I see it as the best hospital in the area.Unfortunately my wife has had to be in three different hospitals this year.And Princeton Medical or Penn Med as they're called now is so far above the other two I feel bad for the patients that have to go to those hospitals.
Terrible experience at the ER department. They are slower than a regular doctor’s office visit. They admit you quickly, however once you are inside, they make you wait for everything. My 3 year old daughter had a fever and they did strep test and fluenza test (through the throat and then the nose), both were very intrusive work that made my daughter painful. Then they wanted us to wait for 1.5 hours in the ER for test results. I said “couldn’t you just call us with the results”, then it took them another hour to give us the paperwork so we could leave the ER. The whole day had passed, they never called me with the test results.
Avoid and the billing department is the absolute worst
The nurses were pleasant and communicated well with my family. The Cardiologist resident was well versed and friendly. The food was mehh but I won't go into detail.The one issue was the wait time between being seen was a little extended given the mechanism for the ER visit.
Waiting time long beyond the standards for a Emergency Facility. Very disappointed no one care if you are with young children.
I gave birth to my first child here. It was amazing experience. All nurses were extremely helpful, polite, nice. They were always around me and child. They express so much love and care. All procedure with baby were so gently and careful. Food was delicious. A big selection of a la carte. Every day is cream as desert on brunch. Hospital is very clean and new. A lot of free parking around. It has everything to make your stay here as comfortable as possible. It looks more like a hotel )
I changed my PCP due to personal unsatisfaction and lauzy care system. All they cared was a grab your co pay and just useless talk and talk ... . ..!? I went dr Schwartz instead and for a first time I really like the way I was treated with lots of questions involved about my health history. That’s why I like it!!! I got scripts for all bloodwork tests needed to be done as well as other important tests for my age. I was pleased and satisfied with care provided to me and it’s outcomes. Thank you dr Schwartz and stuff
This hospital was built in the past 10 years or so and it is still very sleek and modern. Since Penn took over recently the rooms seem smaller than last time we were here. It seems like this hospital takes longer and keeps you longer than Somerset. The doctors are good and thorough. It's nice that they have family hospice rooms and mini kitchens where you can use a microwave to heat food. Like most hospitals, if possible bring your own food.
If I could give this rating ZERO stars, I would! The ER is an absolute joke! I went in early December 2018. Not only did the triage nurse act as if there were nothing wrong with me, but then sent me back into the waiting room for THREE hours, before I had to ask how much longer I would have to wait. Come to find out, they LOST my entire file in their computer system. After another half out of waiting, a nurse finally came to get me and told me I would need to give them all of my information for a second time. I was ask to provide a urine sample and minutes later discharged. No tests, nothing! Apparently when they took my information, they didn’t save it the second time either, because I received a bill for $320! It also stated that I was not insured which is not true! After speaking with them about my bill, they said they would fix it... just received a second bill, this time I’m being charged TWICE for the same damn visit in which they did absolutely NOTHING for me! I would rather go to any other ER than this one! All they care about is getting money!
Sadly, hospice service added to the stress of my husband’s death. The individual nurses and health aides were excellent - but the administrators did not provide adequate staff. We were alone for hours at the end. It was terrifying. They failed to solve drug shortage problems at the end of life. Do your research when you have to choose hospice. Do not pick this service.
Admitted through the ER department, every nurse, Dr, and support staff were top notch on every level. If you need to be in a hospital, this one is a great option.
Was and I mean was one of the best. Still a nice building but that is it.
