Olympion Rehab

Olympion Rehab is a network of private rehabilitation centers in Greece. Founded in 2019, it provides both inpatient and outpatient care. The network operates facilities in Chania, Patras, Thessalia, Ioannina, and Heraklion. Each center is designed to treat mobility and cognitive deficits.

Accreditations and Quality Standards

The centers hold ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 15224:2017 certifications for quality management. They are also certified by TUV Austria Hellas and EQA. Continuous equipment checks ensure all treatment tools meet current safety regulations.

Rehabilitation Specialties and Facilities

This method uses specialized Bobath beds and walking retraining equipment. Gym-based training helps improve balance and limb function.

Robotic and Occupational Rehabilitation

The robotic rehabilitation department uses the Armeo Spring system for upper limb recovery. This anti-gravity technology tracks free movement across the shoulder and elbow joints. Ergotherapy helps patients regain self-care skills for daily life. Facilities include a dedicated training area and Biometrics computer systems for cognitive re-education.

Hydrotherapy and Specialized Care

Hydrotherapy takes place in pools kept between 31°C and 34°C. Water-based treatments use buoyancy and pressure to enable movements impossible on land. The pools feature whirlpool baths and personal hydromassage units. Dedicated departments for psychological support and speech therapy complete the care team.

Diagnostic Technology and Evaluation Labs

The centers run specialized labs to assess patient progress and physical condition. Specialists perform EMG and nerve conduction studies to diagnose nerve and muscle issues. These labs also use motion analysis tools, including a plantar scanner for foot pressure assessment.

The diagnostic units use several brand-name systems:

• Biodex and BTE isokinetic systems for muscle strength testing

Services for Patients

Patient rooms are designed for long-term comfort and independence. Wards feature electric remote-controlled beds and specially equipped bathrooms. Each room includes air-conditioning, a personal telephone, and a TV. Patients can access the internet via Wi-Fi and provided personal computers.

The network coordinates transportation between facilities or other locations. This includes a special vehicle for wheelchair transfers. Fully equipped ambulances are available for urgent movement. These are staffed by escort doctors and trained medical personnel for safety during transit.
